Throughout these Terms, the words “Genius Coffee,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the applicable Genius Coffee company providing the product or service.
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not use our website, products, services, or content in any way that violates applicable laws, infringes on intellectual property rights, interferes with the operation of the website, or attempts to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or limit access to our website or services if we believe these Terms have been violated.
We do our best to keep product descriptions, images, prices, availability, specifications, and technical information accurate and up to date. However, errors may occur.
Product photos may not always represent the exact current version, finish, included accessories, packaging, or configuration. Manufacturers may change specifications, parts, features, packaging, or availability without notice.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update product information, cancel orders, or modify pricing when necessary.
Quotes and estimates are valid only for the period stated on the quote. If no period is stated, quotes are valid for 30 days.
Pricing may change due to supplier pricing, exchange rates, shipping costs, duties, tariffs, customs charges, manufacturer changes, or other factors outside our control.
A quote is not a confirmed order until the required deposit or payment has been received and accepted.
Orders may require full payment or a deposit before processing. Some special-order, custom-order, commercial equipment, parts, and supplier-direct items may be non-cancellable once ordered.
Payment terms will be shown on the quote, invoice, checkout page, or written agreement.
We may pause, delay, or cancel an order or service if payment is not received as agreed.
Applicable taxes are charged based on the location of the sale, delivery, service, or installation.
U.S. customers may be charged applicable state and local sales tax. Canadian customers may be charged applicable GST, HST, PST, QST, or other applicable taxes.
For cross-border shipments, the customer may be responsible for customs duties, brokerage fees, import fees, tariffs, taxes, or other government charges unless otherwise stated in writing.
Service, repair, installation, and training work may be subject to diagnostic fees, travel fees, labour charges, parts charges, and other service-related costs.
Customers are responsible for providing safe access to the equipment, proper electrical service, plumbing, drainage, water treatment, ventilation, counter space, and any other site requirements needed for installation or service.
If a technician arrives and the site is not ready, additional charges may apply.
We may decline to perform work if the equipment, site conditions, electrical supply, plumbing, water quality, or installation environment is unsafe, unsuitable, or not compliant with manufacturer requirements.
Customers are responsible for selecting products that are appropriate for their intended use, site conditions, electrical supply, plumbing, water quality, workflow, and business needs.
For commercial equipment, customers are responsible for confirming that equipment dimensions, power requirements, plumbing requirements, ventilation, counter strength, clearances, and local code requirements are suitable before purchase or installation.
We are happy to provide guidance, but final responsibility for site readiness and suitability remains with the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Water quality is critical for espresso machines, coffee brewers, steam equipment, ice machines, and water filtration systems.
Customers are responsible for maintaining water quality within the specifications required by the equipment manufacturer. Damage caused by scale, corrosion, improper filtration, poor water quality, lack of maintenance, freezing, misuse, or incorrect installation is not the responsibility of Genius Coffee unless otherwise required by law.
We strongly recommend proper water testing and water treatment before installing commercial coffee equipment.
Many of the products we sell and service are used in commercial foodservice environments. Equipment downtime can happen due to wear, water quality, installation issues, parts availability, user error, electrical problems, shipping delays, or manufacturer defects.
Genius Coffee is not responsible for lost sales, lost revenue, lost profit, staff costs, business interruption, substitute equipment, café closure, or any indirect or consequential losses related to equipment failure, shipping delays, repair delays, installation delays, or service issues.
Many products sold by Genius Coffee are manufactured by third-party brands. Manufacturer warranties, service procedures, parts availability, installation rules, and technical requirements may vary by brand and country.
Certain manufacturers may require warranty service to be performed in the country of purchase, by an authorized technician, or through an approved distributor network.
Customers are responsible for following manufacturer instructions, maintenance requirements, cleaning procedures, and water quality specifications.

Genius Coffee shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost sales, business interruption, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or equipment downtime.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply where prohibited by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Genius Coffee, its owners, employees, contractors, suppliers, service providers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your misuse of our website, violation of these Terms, violation of applicable law, misuse of products, improper installation, unsafe site conditions, or infringement of another party’s rights.
