PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
If your espresso shots have been acting like a soap opera (channeling, blonding, “why did that one run fast?”), the IMS Big Bang baskets are the “calm, steady, repeatable” upgrade.

The IMS Big Bang series is a precision-manufactured double basket designed for standard 58mm commercial portafilters. Each height option changes the internal volume, letting you match the basket to your preferred dose and puck geometry. That means better consistency, less random mess, and a more repeatable dial-in — especially in busy shops where “close enough” quickly becomes “please don’t.”

These baskets are built by IMS (Italy) using food-grade stainless steel and precision micro-perforation patterns engineered for stable flow across the puck. In plain café-English: more even extraction, cleaner flavor, and fewer surprise shots when you’re in the weeds.

Choose your height based on your target dose and headspace needs. Same 58mm fit, different internal capacity.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT HEIGHT
• Want a “classic” modern double dose? Pick the height that matches your typical 18–20g workflow (H23.5 is often the sweet spot).
• Dosing higher or using lighter roasts with longer shots? You may prefer a taller basket for headspace and puck stability.
• Dosing lower or using tighter headspace machines? A shorter basket can help avoid shower screen contact.
