COVID-19 UPDATE

As a community-orientated company, we are keeping a close look at the Corona outbreak. Our priority is the health of our staff and customers.

 

First, we have increased the frequency of cleaning high-touch areas. We have enhanced our standard procedures for hygiene, handwashing and sanitation. We keep checking daily news from the WHO and Canadian Health Agency. We are taking action as new rules and finds come out. 

 

As a business, we are here to help our fellow partners, the coffee people. The pandemic is a hazard to global health and is threatening the livelihoods of businesses. As we wait for the Coronavirus impact to subside, there are some things Coffee business can do to ride out the wave.

 

Proper strategy and planning will pull us out of this unique situation. Using online tools and partnering up with other companies, is the right recovery. As a businessman, I can help by putting up some recommendations and show my views.

 

1Understand your inventory is cash. Converting your existing inventory to money is a top priority. Online purchases are spiking. Using a delivery service and pushing your online shopping is the way to go. For example, restaurants in Toronto are sending ingredients of their dishes for delivery. 

 

 2. Know the crisis will end, and keep your foot on the accelerator. Any sales not made during the time to recovery will most certainly be lost. Continued online promotion is more important than ever, and it is essential that your brand and products are visible online on your website and/or linked to other sites. By going "dark," merchants risk courting brand irrelevance, which they may not recover. 

 

 3. Communicate with your customers excessively.

 

 4. Clean up and catch up. Newton first thought of the theory of gravity during quarantine in 1665.

 

It is time to show your generous side, because it is not all about money. Having time to help is a terrific opportunity to show the world that you are more than a business, but rather a real part of their community. Create a promotion or offer what helps relieve some of the strain that many people are facing now.
